Destination Wedding & “Rehearsal Dinners”
While most weddings back in the states have a Rehearsal Dinner that only includes immediate family and the wedding party most “rehearsal dinners” are done a little bit different for destination weddings down in Todos Santos.
We like to call them Welcome Dinner or Welcome Happy Hour, depending on the budget set aside for your Rehearsal you can have a welcome dinner to invite any guests the night (or sometimes 2 nights) prior to the wedding.
Welcome Dinner, while there are many many little spots to eat there are some great places that can accommodate over 50+ guests.
There are so many hidden gorgeous places in and around Todos Santos to accommodate your welcome dinner from Hierabuena where you can walk the gardens for the Farm to Table experience, El Refugio for some delicious Mezcal paired with amazing Margaritas (plus the guests can book a cooking class for their trip) and then there is Los Adobes with beautiful open garden space and you can smell the delicious food from around the block.
Welcome Happy Hour is great for the couple who is keeping within budget but still wants to welcome their guests for coming such a long way.
This is where you can enjoy a couple hours of happy hour with a limited drink menu and can pair with some chips+salsa for those who need a little snack. Let your guests enjoy the beautiful view of all downtown Todos Santos mixed with a little ocean view, the rooftop at Casa Hotel Tota or Guaycura Hotel has the best views in town for this. If you feel like more space for guests to walk around, check out Jazamango where they have gorgeous landscape of gardens and plenty of patio space for some cornhole fun.
