Trends that are here to stay in 2020

Get your green on

Sustainable weddings aren’t going anywhere hopefully ever! There are so many things you can start by doing like repurposing ceremony florals by donating them to local hospitals when done, using only potted plants such as succulents & cactus and replanting once the wedding is done, sourcing organically grown food for that farm to table freshness and hiring venues that use low carbon footprint.

All a BOARD

What used to be a table full of candy and sweets has not turned into a charcuterie board for your guests. Whether is for cocktail hour or late night snacks these boards have become a piece of art that isn’t going anywhere.

Minimalist

Having a guest list under 50 is an ideal wedding for destination weddings but you also have so many perks of splurging more on that organic dinner and adding more personalization to your big day

Crystal, Crystals, Crystals

Crystals have been trending for a over a year now but is wasn’t until late 2019 that couples have been incorporating them into their weddings. Whether its sending guests home with a small rose quartz or including them into your florals for some good energy.

The other type of Going Green

This past booking season of 2020 I have seen the most of Vegan requests, mostly because of the dietary needs of gluten, dairy free etc. but couples are being more and more considerate of guests needs. Trust me you don’t need to have meat/fish for the Mexican spice for a meal!

Check Check & Check

As much as I love a good party favor especially for a destination wedding the next best trend for 2020 is the Bride + Groom making a donation in honor of each guest who attends. What I love even more are the couples who want to donate to the local charities where they are getting married, Todos Santos has quite a few charities that can use that type of love!
